We guarantee all plants true to name and color. It must be remembered however that plants grown from seed may vary some. Where specific varieties are named, such as Chrysanthemums, Phlox., Oriental Poppies, Iris, etc, we unconditionally guaranty them true to name and color,

In describing the plants the height given is when in full bloom. However, location, sun or shade, soil and wether crowded or not can have a decided effect on the height.

We guarantee safe arrival. Any plants not satisface tory when received may be returned immediately and we will refund transportation charges and replace the plants free or refund the amount paid for then.

Cash must accompany order. Personal checks accepted.

All plants are sent out prepaid except those marked as potted or in wooden plant bands. To orders less than $ 1,00 please add 15¢ to cover packing and postage.

CHRYSANT HEMUMS

Our chrysanthemums are grown cool and perfectly hardened off before shipping. We grow them in 24" wooden plant bands, which we find much superior to the clay pot. In bands the plants root more naturally, do not get pot-bound and the difference shows up decided- ly during the summer.

A 2s" plant band holds more soil than a 3" pot, more than 14 times as much as a 23" pot and more than 24 times as much as a 24" pot - the size chrysanthenums usually are shipped from,

When planting from bands, dig the hole first, push the plant down through the band into the hole, fill with loose dirt and water down good. After that cultivate often and do not overwater.

We guaranty all our chrysanthemums true to name and color. The height given may vary some because of soil conditions, shade or sun. Also the time of flowering will vary in different seasons.

Because of the extra weight we cannot send these prepaid. To orders for 6 plants or less,please add 20¢ for postage or express. For more than 6 plants add 3¢ per plant. Anything paid in excess will be promptly refunded.
